Back in September, Presenting Denver and I collaborated on a photo session to create images for their new website. They wanted to convey dance without focusing on faces or individuals. As a Denver dance photographer, this was a really fun challenge for me. It forced me to take a step back and get really creative.
Around the same time, I walked all over Denver, capturing the essence of the city. As I went through the images from both projects, I noticed how well the photos paired together to show Denver and dance through similar compositions.

I love the artistry and the lines!
Beautiful comparisons! Great images as well! I love the differences but how well they fit together perfectly!
Very creative without showing faces. Great work!
This is so unique. The first image with the hands and then the similarity with the building structure next to it…that was so cool!
What a unique style! I love these. Such a contrast of images!
What a fun creative challenge (those are the best!), and you came up with some great images, as always, Jamie!! Well done!
These are awesome! I was a former professional dancer and so appreciate movement through photography. Great job!
These are so lovely, I was a former professional dancer too and these really capture the emotion behind the movements. 🙂 Love!
