This is the last part of this magical golden hour collaboration with Presenting Denver. The session was over a year ago and I’m still in love with the dreaminess of the images we made. Each of the four dancers photographed brought something unique to the session and their personalities shone through their dancing.
That is what I love the most about being a Colorado dance photographer. I love meeting all these incredible artists and getting to know them through their favorite form of expression.
With this project, I got to know them a little bit better through their interviews with Presenting Denver’s talented writers. It has been amazing to read about all the dancers’ backgrounds and how they are contributing to the community.
Jessica Riggs is the founder of Life/Art Dance Ensemble and truly embodies the fusion of life and art. “Both the name and concept behind [Life/Art Dance Ensemble] stem from Riggs’ belief that there is no separation between art and life.
