Mac and cheese is one of my greatest loves so I decided to start a blog series reviewing Denver mac and cheese dishes from restaurants around town. I’m on a mission to spread the word about the best and worst mac and cheeses in the area. My quest is to find the best in town. Join me as I eat my way through Denver, one mac and cheese review at a time. Today, I’m reviewing Work and Class‘s mac and cheese side dish. Enjoy!

Work and Class
The flavor was good, but not great. I also thought that the sauce was too runny. Plus, there was not enough sauce and it didn’t cover the pasta well. I gave this dish points for the cute cast iron pan, however, it was weird that the large mac and cheese side dish was just two smalls so I dropped the points back down again. Splitting it into two dishes did make sharing easy though.
Mac and Cheese Side Dish
I thought $11.75 was a bit high for a large side dish, and it certainly wasn’t filling on it’s own. The mac and cheese was topped with crunchy breadcrumbs, herbs, and cheese, I just wish there was more topping to go around. This was the first time I’ve reviewed a mac and cheese with not mix in options at all. This meant it got zero points in that category, bringing this Denver mac and cheese rating to 16 out of 30.
Obligatory cheesy photo of me eating mac and cheese! (Why is there always weird light on my face in these photos?)
