Donna and I met at a networking group for women business owners. She is a coach and psychotherapist who works with women going through major life transitions. Whether it be divorce, loss of a loved one, or a career change, her goal is to help the women she works with find balance in their lives so they can move past the trauma and emerge better than ever. I watched her speak and she is so compassionate and eager to empower more women through her work.
Donna came to me looking for new photos for her website relaunch. She was starting a new journey with her business and everything needed a makeover. Her headshot session was scheduled right after an appointment with her hairdresser, which was perfect because she loved her new haircut and it looked great in photos (even though it was a little windy). I love the clothes she brought as well. The outfits we chose added great pops of color and patterns to the natural backdrops in the images. And they all stayed on brand and were super comfy and easy to change into.
Bridges and water have an important significance in her work so we made sure to incorporate them into the session. Eldorado Canyon State Park made for the perfect location for Donna since it has a creek running through the park and two beautiful bridges. I love how she connected with the message that bridges hold during her session. Plus, it is a gorgeous location, between Denver and Boulder and usually is not very crowded. We had the whole park to ourselves at this session!
I love working with clients to customize a session to their brand and personality. Personal branding sessions are a great way to jumpstart or restart your business with a new look and feel!
