Bird Fur Tees is the t-shirt company my brother, Josh, created. Josh has always had a quirky sense of humor and an entrepreneurial spirit and this company has been the perfect combination for him. His shirts are funny, weird, timely, and sometimes even philanthropic. He’s always posting behind the scenes photos, new designs, and funny memes on his Facebook page. Go ahead and take a look.
All our shoots have been in urban parts of Denver with bright, colorful murals as our backdrop. These kinds of locations are my absolute favorites since I’m pretty much addicted to bright colors and patterns. This time, we went back to RiNo, the location for our original photoshoot. This neighborhood is full of awesome breweries, coffee shops and tons of cool murals.
This awesome woman was just rollerblading by our photo shoot and we asked her to try on a tank for some photos. She was totally up for it and she even showed us some cool tricks! She and her boyfriend were in town from Ohio, where she’s part of a roller derby team. We asked her to pick her favorite shirt to model and she loved the aliens one.
Of course, we stole another dog (which we returned again) to cameo in some photos. I think this little guy really identified with the “Please let there be a dog at this party” shirt! Plus, Juliet is the animal whisperer so we got some great photos.
We found the perfect spot for our group photos. This little fabric shop looks like it’s been closed for ages but these signs are timeless and perfect for t-shirt brand photography! Plus, the sunset was pretty great. Typical Colorado!
