Being a Denver branding photographer can lead to so many fun opportunities! I love working with fellow small businesses and small business owners. I think it’s important to support the entrepreneurial community any way I can. These Bird Fur Tees sessions are always a blast. Bird Fur Tees began as the brainchild of my quirky and creative brother, Josh, or as he claims on his website, “It was started by Josh after he was struck by lightning while wearing a t-shirt.” As you can guess, growing up with Josh was never boring!
When it’s time for the next Bird Fur photo session, Josh brings a bunch of his friends, funny t-shirts, and lots snacks (bribes?) to a fun, urban location and we walk around and take photos showing off shirts with Josh’s unique brand of humor. The best part is that there’s always a dog! Sometimes one of Josh’s friends bring their dog; other times we invite a passing dog owner to lend us their pup for photos! This pup was one of our own and a real sweetheart, totally up for wearing a cool shirt and hanging out with us. I think he loved being in the limelight!
Denver Branding Photographer | Bird Fur in LoHi
For this session, we found some fun places in Lohi, starting at one of my all-time favorite Denver spots, Little Man Ice Cream, where folks reenacted their childhood by going down the slide and playing with hoola hoops (yes, we’re still kids at heart). Then we made our way over to a fav restaurant, Postino. On the way, we had fun at the playground in Hirshorn Park. But the t-shirts were the real stars, goofy jokes and weird humor you won’t find anywhere else!
